According to my Many Moons planner by @gottesss , my numerology/tarot cards for 2019 is 13 / death and 4 / the navigator (according to the @slowholler tarot deck). This seems fitting and ironic for a lot of different reasons. In the planner, it ask you to draw your interpretation. I drew two and liked this one the most.
The bird featured in this print is the zopilote, a native vulture of Mexico, representing death and where I physically am right now. The flowers are chrysanthemums, which are symbolic to death in Italy. My mother’s family is Italian and this a nod to my past. The lines in the diamond are lines I drew from old nautical maps. The compass is backwards, which other than that being a mistake and probably showing my mental space at the moment, has no meaning than navigation. There is a lot more symbols and meaning behind this print but it all seems a little too personal to post.
De acuerdo con mi planificador de Muchas lunas por @gottesss, mis tarjetas de numerología / tarot para 2019 son 13 / muerte y 4 / el navegador (según la baraja de tarot @slowholler). Esto parece apropiado e irónico por muchas razones diferentes. En el planificador, le pedirá que dibuje su interpretación. Dibujé dos y este me gustó más.
El ave que aparece en esta impresión es el zopilote, un buitre nativo de México, que representa la muerte y donde estoy físicamente en este momento. Las flores son crisantemos, que son simbólicos a la muerte en Italia. La familia de mi madre es italiana y esto es un guiño a mi pasado. Las líneas en el diamante son líneas que dibujé de mapas náuticos antiguos. La brújula está al revés, lo que, aparte de eso, es un error y, probablemente, mostrar mi espacio mental en este momento, no tiene más sentido que la navegación. Hay muchos más símbolos y significados detrás de esta impresión, pero todo parece un poco demasiado personal para publicar.
